Institute on Teaching Social Action

The Initiative hosts annual summer and winter virtual Teaching Social  Action Institutes in order to train professors and staff to use the social action model in academic courses across the disciplines. The 3-day virtual institutes will be held each summer and winter when campuses are not in session. Co-hosted by Dr. Myers-Lipton and Bobby Hackett, the Institutes introduce staff and faculty from a variety of disciplines, on how to incorporate social action campaigns into either a semester-long course or co-curricular workshop series.

The Summer Institute is on June 6-8th, 2023, and is made possible with support from the Bonner Foundation.

In addition, recordings from the Winter and Summer Institutes can be viewed online.
